Bed frame producer taps Yargus

HOUSTON — Veteran furniture executive Dick Yargus, with case goods and metal bed importer Largo International since 1994, has been named general manager of the Houston division of bed frame producer Mantua Mfg.

Coincidentally, Largo has hired former Mantua executive Raymond Reese as vice president of sales, Yargus' former post.

Yargus also will be Mantua's vice president of sales for the West. He has been in the industry for over 25 years in a variety of sales and marketing posts. Before Largo, he was at Tell City Chair, Fashion Bed Group and Dresher.

"We are excited to have someone of Dick's stature help us grow aggressively," said Mantua President Edward Weintraub.

Largo President Glenn Wakefield said Reese will play a key role as Largo positions itself for further growth.
