CLEARWATER, Fla. —Matthew Childs has been named vice president of strategic planning at FKQ Advertising & Marketing.
He previously was with Brodeur/Imagetime, a technology marketing communications firm in Milan, Italy, and has held a variety of marketing positions, including director of interactive at Nike.
Southeastern retail chain Badcock Home Furnishings & more is among FKQ's clients.

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — Polymer Group Inc., which develops and markets engineered materials to the textile industry and others, has made organizational changes to support its strategy of developing long-term relationships with its suppliers and customers and leveraging its purchasing presence worldwide.
Mike Hale has been named group vice president, USA nonwovens division. He was previously group vice president of product supply.
Sherry Sutton has joined PGI as group vice president, marketing and sales. She was previously vice president of sales and marketing for Honeywell International's performance fibers group.
James Snyder has been named vice president of global purchasing. He was previously vice president of corporate purchasing.
