Sam Levitz donates to 'Extreme' TV show

TUCSON, Ariz. — Sam Levitz Furniture, a Top 100 company with four stores in the Tucson area, was selected as the primary furniture provider for the recently filmed “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” due to air March 22.
Sam Levitz donated $50,000 worth of furniture, accessories, lighting and patio furniture, as well as laptop computers.
“The entire Tucson community has stepped up to join 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' to help the Bell family,” said Diane Korman, senior producer of the show. “We are so proud to have companies like Sam Levitz Furniture who are leaders in their industry to help make the 'Extreme' house a home.”
Sam Levitz is a family-owned company with a history of philanthropy in Tucson. It donates about $100,000 in furniture, time and money to various charities each year, according to the company.
“This donation is on behalf of all our loyal customers across southern Arizona,” said company President Sam Levitz. “We are thrilled to help out the Bell family and our community.”
