Latex Int. teams with Hickory Springs

SHELTON, Conn. — Latex mattress components supplier Latex International has signed a national distribution agreement with Hickory Springs.
Hickory Springs supplies polyurethane and innerspring products to the bedding industry and adds latex to its product portfolio with the new agreement. Hickory Springs will stock, promote and distribute Latex International's key Talalay latex products.
Among the products it will distribute are Latex International's Celsion temperature-regulating latex, NuForm progressive recovery latex, and EverCloud quiltable latex.
“Our joint commitment to innovation, combined with Hickory's large number of plants, provides a great opportunity to provide even better service to smaller mattress manufacturers across North America,” said Kevin Coleman, president and CEO of Latex International. “This relationship will help many mattress plants better manage their supply chain, which is especially beneficial in a challenging economy where all manufacturers and retailers are facing headwinds.”
Added Don Coleman, president of Hickory Springs: “Latex International produces the highest quality latex foam in the world. This technology complements our vast portfolio of polyurethane and innerspring products and enables Hickory to provide our customers a deeper set of sleep solutions.

The distribution agreement is effective immediately.
