Commerce Dept. extends review for Shanghai Fangjia
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, March 9, 2009
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Commerce has agreed to extend a new shipper review for Chinese bedroom producer Shanghai Fangjia Industry Co. Ltd. The DOC initiated the review on this company on Sept. 9, 2008. The review originally was slated to be completed no later than Feb. 23.
However, the DOC is exercising its option to extend that 180-day review period to 300 days based on the complicated nature of the case. The results are expected to be issued by June 22.
