WENATCHEE, Wash. — Youth furniture resource Bedtime Holdings has been sold to China-based Shawin International Group by Oklahoma City-based retailer Mathis Bros., which had owned the company since 2007.
Bedtime has operated the youth furniture distribution business for more than 12 years and specializes in products made of birch.
Jiangsu Xiangsheng Bedtime Furniture Co. Ltd will remain a supplier of Bedtime Holdings. The factory has worked with Bedtime for more than a decade. Jiangsu Xiangsheng is not affiliated with Shawin International Group.
Mountain Furniture LLC, led by Ron Holliday and Bedtime founder Bob Woodyard, is Bedtime’s sales and marketing agency in the United States.
“Bedtime has and will continue to be a value leader in the youth business,” said Rit Mathis, a director of Mathis Bros. “We are glad to be divested from Bedtime as we could not give it the attention it deserved while simultaneously managing our retail business. The new ownership and its agency have tremendous experience in the business and should be successful.”
