NEW YORK — Heather Ryan has returned to Grange as managing director of the high-end French furniture manufacturer and distributor's North American subsidiary.
Ryan, who was director of sales and marketing for Grange North America from 2000 to 2005, most recently was marketing director for Veranda Magazine and earlier was vice president of sales and marketing for another French home furnishings source, Pierre Deux.
She replaces Matthew Hayward, who has left the company for another position in the industry.
Before initially coming to Grange in 2000, Ryan already had worked in sales and marketing at French brands Claude Havrey, Bernardaud and L'Occitane.
In her new post, she reports to Drazen Babic, managing director of Groupe Grange. She will join the company March 30.
“We are thrilled to have Heather come back to Grange and are confident that her passion for our brand combined with her knowledge of marketing luxury French products will be a winning combination for our North American subsidiary,” said Valerie Moran, consulting director, Groupe Grange.
According to the company, Ryan will lead an initiative to refocus on its core business in North America — the company-owned and -operated luxury showrooms and stores that specialize in dealing with the design trade. Grange also will continue to supply some high-end retailers with exclusive products, notably Bloomingdale's and New York-based ABC Carpet & Home.
Groupe Grange is owned by the Aga-Rangemaster Group, which also owns home brands including Aga, La Cornue, Rangemaster and Fired Earth.
