Cash named to sales post at Cresent

GALLATIN, Tenn. — Case goods importer Cresent Fine Furniture has named John Cash national sales manager, a new position.

Cash has been with Cresent for three years as a retail sales manager. Before that, he was a regional manager at retailer Sofa Express, and earlier had worked in retail management for 17 years at Rhodes Furniture.

In his new position, he reports to Richard Tomkins, vice president of sales and marketing. Cash will be responsible for retail development and support in the United States and Canada.

Tomkins said Cash's strengths lie in product knowledge and closing techniques, skills deemed critical in today's retail environment.
