Norwalk to show at IHFC's Design Center

Norwalk, Ohio — Celebrating its comeback and posting a "small profit," Norwalk Custom Upholstery said it is moving to a more visible showroom at the High Point Market.
"We really feel like Norwalk needs a presence in High Point, a strong presence," said Reyna Moore, director of marketing.
Norwalk has signed a long-term lease with the International Home Furnishings Center and will move from its long-held space at 215 S. Main St.
Designed by HB2, the new 7,500-square-foot showroom on the 10th floor of the IHFC's Design Center will be divided into three galleries.
One gallery will showcase products from Norwalk's line with HGTV's Candice Olson, another will include products from the company's Variations line, and the third will be devoted to The Best of Norwalk, displaying best sellers.
This will be the first High Point Market for Norwalk Custom Upholstery, formed after investors bought assets of the former Norwalk Furniture. The old Norwalk folded last summer after its lending source pulled its line of credit.
Moore said the brand's comeback is a testament to the strength of its programs and the value in its products.
"When you look at Candice's designs, of course, you see the style and quality," she said. "And that's no less true with Variations, where customers have choices in profiles and over 800 covers plus detailing choices for the ultimate in customization.
"Add in the quick-ship program that we offer and ours is a powerful story that buyers respond to. Because it works."
Moore said the company chose the IHFC because of its high traffic.
"Location is the mist important thing," she said, adding that "more than 95% of all market visitors go through the IHFC."
