Connolly gets new GERS post

SAN DIEGO — SAN DIEGO— John Connolly Jr. has joined software provider GERS Retail Systems in a new position, vice president of business development and alliances.
Connolly, who previously worked for SAP America as retail industry principal for North America, will be responsible for development and management of strategic partnerships at GERS, defining revenue opportunities and key alliances.
"Our business and strategic partnerships are a critical component of GERS' success in delivering retail technology to the industry," said President and CEO Jim Henderson. "John Connolly provides the leadership and capabilities to forge and help maintain relationships with those companies that play a key role in providing the complementary hardware and services our customers require to achieve retail excellence."
