HIGH POINT — HIGH POINT— Italian leather upholstery producer Gamma Arredamenti International will open a space on the fifth floor of Showplace for the October market.
Gamma plans a 7,300-square-foot showroom, plus a 3,000-square-foot terrace. The company, which opened its first U.S. showroom five years ago, wants to expand its U.S. customer base. In addition to its contemporary line, Gamma will introduce transitional and traditional looks.
"The contemporary styling of Showplace fits perfectly with the look of our product," said Gabriele Ghetti, chairman and CEO. Gamma has shown at 125 S. Hamilton St.
The company recently built a new plant at its base in Forli, Italy, allowing for 300,000 square feet of production.
