Hayes retires from full-time post at Century

HICKORY, N.C. — HICKORY, N.C.— Bill Hayes, senior vice president of Century Furniture, has retired from his full-time sales and product responsibilities but will work half-time or less managing the company's growing Oscar de la Renta furniture program.
At the same time, said Century President and CEO Bob Maricich, "We are ready to bring on a new design group."
Under the new organization, Bob Choppa is senior vice president, upholstery.
Anne Hood, who joined the company last year, is senior director of upholstery merchandising.
David Blair is senior vice president, sales and marketing.
Bill Faber is vice president, wood product design, and Jeff White is senior director, wood product development. Tonya Osborne is director, wood product design and development.
Laurie Reed is director of showroom design.
