City of Hope golf event on for June 14

ATLANTA — The furniture industry will continue its commitment to City of Hope when the 13th annual West Coast Golf and Tennis Tournament is held June 14 at Cote de Caza Country Club in Coto de Caza, Calif.
Sponsored by the National Home Furnishings Industry Chapter for City of Hope, the all-day tournament will be followed by a dinner and reception that evening.
The tournament was founded in 1989 and, since then, has raised more than $1.3 million. Chairmen for this year's tournament are Rick Powell and Michael Gennet.
In 2001, the tournament began recognizing West Coast leaders of the furniture industry. This year's honoree is Michael Amini, founder and president of Aico. Past recipients have included Jim Harwell, Arnold Belinsky and Ann Navarra.
