Halsten gets A.A. Laun post

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 19, 2004

KIEL, Wis. — Rob Halsten has joined occasional furniture manufacturer and importer A.A. Laun Furniture as sales and marketing manager.

In the new position, Halsten reports to Jonathan Laun, president and CEO, and will work closely with John Zielke, a director of the company and assistant to Laun.

Halsten comes to A.A. Laun after four years at solid-wood case goods manufacturer Crawford of Jamestown, where he was vice president of sales and marketing.

Prior to that, he spent five years at upholstery and case goods supplier Cochrane Furniture, where he was vice president of case goods merchandising.

He also was vice president of marketing and sales at Dinaire and was a furniture buyer for Marshall Field's in Chicago.

"Rob comes to the company to help grow our outside sales and further the development of our domestic and import product lines," Laun said. "Rob will be working together with John Zielke and myself as we continue to blend our Homeland domestic product lines with our import Passport division."

At the High Point market, A.A. Laun shows in the International Home Furnishing Center, space M238.
