Mattress maker Natura promotes Earth Day giveaway

Will award new mattress in Facebook contest

CAMBRIDGE, Ontario — Natural bedding producer Natura is celebrating Earth Day with an organic mattress giveaway.

Consumers who post pictures of their old mattresses on Natura's Facebook page are eligible to win the new mattress. The promotion began on April 1 and culminates on Earth Day, April 22, when Natura will select the winner in a random drawing. The winner will receive a free twin, full or queen-sized Eco Haven organic mattress by Natura.

"We have a healthy and growing community on Facebook and we're asking them to pull back the covers and share why they need a new bed," said Natura President Ralph Rossdeutscher.

"In everything we do, from manufacturing to shipping to dreaming up new products, we practice the highest standards of sustainability," he said. "And we partner with companies who share our eco-philosophies to make it easier for everyone to make green, natural and organic choices."
