Ready-to-assemble introductions for entertainment include a wood-front TV stand in an Heirloom Cherry finish and a matching set of piers. A TV stand for 36-inch monitors features a Stream Walnut finish and two shelves for components.

• Introducing a large selection of RTA home theater furniture designed to accommodate the new TV configurations. In addition, the company will unveil a complete home theater branding and marketing program designed to help retailers capitalize on this market.

• Entertainment introductions include two new groups: Titanium, which merges a sleek industrial look with warm cherry veneers, and Universal, a sleek design that mirrors the look of new flat-panel televisions and offers a detachable hutch for mounting TVs as well as floor adjust-ment/leveling hardware.

Introductions include two RTA entertainment walls in contemporary styling. Available with three or four pieces depending on the television, the walls expand to more than 100 inches for home theater. They include lighted piers and accommodations for speakers. One unit has a rich Amaretto finish; the other has curved glass doors. Prices run from $599 to $799 depending on the configuration.

The Bijou Home Theater collection includes six contemporary pieces in white birch with 11 finish choices, $1,200 to $4,000.

An entertainment wall for plasma televisions, Helix is a contemporary design available in a Dark Sapele or Natural Sycamore finish. The Helix system also accommodates direct-view televisions.

Introducing several entertainment walls and TV armoires. Styles include Mission and traditional in oak veneers and hardwood solids, and Louis Philippe and 18th century designs in cherry veneers and hardwood solids, with five pieces for each group. All feature light bridges for a standard 3-piece wall, $799 retail, and the armoires, $599, have pocket doors. The armoire can be matched with two piers, $1,199.

Adding a 65-inch wide console to two wall units, Albany Park and Marlborough, to accommodate ever-wider tabletop televisions. Hitting new starter price points with four plasma consoles targeting $999 retail. The company also is featuring more than a dozen new entertainment centers designed specifically for digital televisions, including designs with pocket doors and wrap-around doors. One of the consoles has an optional hutch for projection televisions.

Expanding the Southampton white-and-natural home-office collection, a Cottage design, to include an entertainment assortment, including a full wall, $1,499. Will show three additional walls as well as several 60-inch wide stands for plasma televisions, $699.

Offering several entertainment walls in transitional, traditional and country styling. Large-scale wall systems made from solids and veneers feature extensive carvings and details. Collections include a traditional with cherry and burl veneers, $999 retail for two piers and light bridge; a country pine design, $799; traditional cherry, $799; and promotional transitional and traditional collections, $599 retail.

Additions to the EQ3 program include Nest, a European contemporary design with black walnut veneers and charcoal lacquer cases. The low-profile design includes a TV base, $399, as well as several wall-mounted storage pieces, $49 to $99 each.

More than 30 new entertainment units include full walls, television stands and entertainment centers.

Adding plasma consoles, in painted finishes, at promotional price points with two glass shelves and storage for up to four components. Also, several new full-scale wall systems in traditional and transitional styles, including the Mirador transitional design in ash solids and veneers with features like lighted bridge and piers and pull-out media trays.

Additions to the Museum of New Mexico collection include two Raynolds armoires combining Southwest geometric designs with Eastlake Victorian touches. New plasma television display solutions include a country French design with tambour doors, $3,400.

A new hollow-core collection of more than 31 ready-to-assemble pieces includes several entertainment pieces. Also new is a series of wall systems integrated with Murphy beds. These pieces can be used for entertainment, creating an integrated look that includes a pull-down bed.

This market's strong emphasis on the entertainment category includes the addition of several RTA pieces accommodating larger flat-screen televisions to existing collections.

•The expanded Arena collection will include a bridge that suspends a DVD player or VCR above a large-screen television, as well as an entertainment credenza that holds most 40-inch televisions.

•The new Bradford collection features an entertainment credenza, TV wall and bridge for flat-screen televisions.

•The new Colony collection will include an entertainment wall, universal stand and piers with louvered panel doors to support flat-screen televisions.

•Sauder also will introduce six new audio/video storage pieces in the Mission and Willow Falls collections, which will allow consumers to add extra storage options to their existing furnishings.

The new Surroundables series features full entertainment walls in a concave shape that complements the popular home-theater sofas that are on the market. Available in Mission and other traditional styles, the walls are available with matching occasional tables. Priced from $1,799 retail.

•Wainwright, a casual traditional collection that blends 18th-century inspiration with modern comfort, features a full assortment of entertainment walls and other pieces, including an 102-inch armoire for rooms with tall ceilings.

•Beau Nouveau is a rich, sophisticated contemporary design based on Biedermeier styling. Featuring a dark finish over walnut veneers and contrasting ring pulls, the striking design includes several home entertainment display and storage pieces.

The Buffer entertainment wall, a contemporary RTA design in cherry or maple finish with high-grade hardware, will hit a $499 mark.

•The Metro collection is a series of occasional tables, bookcases and entertainment centers in a two-tone finish with satin metal accents and ebony inlays.

•The English Fireside group includes a five-piece entertainment wall in hardwoods and cherry veneers with a relaxed umber finish and verdigris patina inlays.

WOOD BROS.MS 300

Offering full-function cabinets for audio-video media with a mechanized lift for plasma monitors. Styled after Old Charm English Tudor reproductions, these pieces are available in several finishes, $10,200 retail.
