HIGH POINT — HIGH POINT — A national television audience will see Magnussen Home's new Cristina Ferrare Home Collection on the opening day of April market in a live broadcast.
"Good Day Live," a show on the Fox Television network, will broadcast from the Magnussen showroom.
While past High Point markets have generated taped segments on national TV programs, as well as local live feeds, Ferrare's appearance is believed to be the first national live broadcast from a showroom in the history of the market.
"Good Day Live," a news and entertainment show, expects an audience of more than 1 million people for the unveiling of the licensed line from Ferrare and Magnussen.
"As a top-rated television personality, Cristina maintains a strong relationship with 'Good Day Live,' strong enough to command a live national broadcast from our showroom," said Jeff Cook, president and CEO of Magnussen Home. The show's hosts, Steve Edwards, Dorothy Lucey and Jillian Barberie, will stay in Los Angeles but will talk live to Ferrare and others in the showroom, at space M-1010 of the International Home Furnishings Center.
The broadcast will take place between noon and 1 p.m.
"Cristina has been the co-host of the show several times herself," said Cook. "She assures us it will be highly entertaining."
