HIGH POINT MARKET: Lexington offering dealer incentives for market orders

Holding drawings for trips, jewelry

Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 9, 2009

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Lexington Home Brands will offer dealer incentives during the High Point Market with drawings for prize packages tailored to each of three new lifestyle collections the company is offering.

"We believe that the excitement of fresh and innovative product at retail will be an important tipping point in compelling consumers to reengage in the home furnishings category," said Phil Haney, Lexington president and CEO. "To that end, we are introducing three powerful lifestyle collections in April that will allow our retailers to connect with consumers who are shopping with a keen eye towards style, value and relevance."

Island Estate from the company's Tommy Bahama Home line features refined Caribbean styling with a blend of natural materials, textures and new finish colors.

Black Ice, under the Lexington brand, is a contemporary design with bold architectural lines inspired by classic Campaign styling. Polished silver hardware and silver nailhead trim contrast with the satin black finish.

Cimarron, also a Lexington collection, freshly interprets traditional English styling with hand-hewn alder tops, gentle distressing and a hand-rubbed finish that imparts the hand and patina of a cherished antique.

Now for the prizes. Dealers placing qualifying orders on each collection will be entered in a drawing to win:

  • For Island Estate, a weekend getaway for two to the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
  • For Black Ice, a selection of silver and onyx jewelry from designer David Yurman.
  • For Cimarron, a weekend getaway for two to the Fairmont Princess Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz.

All the lines will be on display in the Lexington Home Brands showroom at 1300 National Highway, Thomasville. A dedicated shuttle runs to the showroom every 15 minutes from downtown High Point, with the pickup at Commerce Avenue and Wrenn Street.
