ONTARIO, Calif. — Lanpar, parent company of case goods manufacturer Oakwood Interiors, has acquired Alan Morgan Furniture, an importer of bedroom and home theater furniture in oak and pine.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Alan Morgan, previously based in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., will relocate its offices to Lanpar's headquarters in Ontario.
In a letter to Alan Morgan dealers, Lanpar President and CEO Nick Lanphier said, "I am excited about the addition of Alan Morgan to our family of companies and look forward to a long and prosperous mutual relationship with you and your company."
Lanpar said it plans to increase inventories in Alan Morgan's U.S. and China warehouses to reduce lead times and improve service.
