Logistics company adds 2, promotes Hui

HICKORY, N.C. — Logistics management firm Transportation Insight has hired two people and promoted an executive as it moves to improve service and add business.
Reginald Walker has been named to the new post of director of customer satisfaction. He has 11 years experience in transportation, logistics, sales and project management, and software consulting. He will help improve service to customers, which include residential and office furniture companies.
Chris Mendenhall has joined Transportation Insight as vice president of pricing services. He has 20 years of industry-related experience and will manage pricing negotiations, lane optimization and contract publications.
Michael Hui has been promoted to vice president of new market development, another new post. He was vice president of carrier relations, and will help expand the company's business to new territories.
Hui is one of four principal owners of the company. Mendenhall reports to the principal owners and Walker reports to William Pazdera, vice president of information systems.
