Master Design hires 3

ONTARIO, Calif. — ONTARIO, Calif. — Lane Co. veteran Philip Siler has joined importer Master Design as vice president of merchandising.
Also joining the company are Jam Pourturk, formerly of Samuel Lawrence, as director of engineering and product development and Timothy Bullin, most recently national sales manager at Chromcraft, as vice president of national accounts.
All report to Harry Lo, CEO of Master Design, a division of Taiwan-based Test Rite Co.
At Lane, Siler was merchandise manager of wood products and worked in sales and sales management. At Master Design, he will manage all merchandising and marketing functions. Pourturk, who worked in product development at Samuel Lawrence, will work with Siler to expedite product development and quality control with Master Design's source factories in the Far East.
Siler replaces Pat Plance, whose title was product development manager. She is taking a job as merchandise manager for Ashley Home Stores in central and northern Florida, and will be based in Orlando.
Bullin is rejoining Master Design, where he worked as western regional sales manager earlier in his career.
