Gacka VP at Macy's Home

NEW YORK — NEW YORK — Bernie Gacka has been named senior vice president of furniture and bedding in the new Macy's Home Store buying organization. He was vice president for big-ticket goods at Macy's East.
Federated Department Stores created Macy's Home Store in February as a central organization for strategy, merchandising and marketing for all 425-plus Federated stores that carry the Macy's nameplate.
In addition to Macy's department stores, these include Rich's-Macy's, Lazarus-Macy's, Goldsmith's-Macy's, Bon-Macy's and Burdines-Macy's stores.
Eric Salus, who was president of Seattle-based Bon-Macy's, is president of Macy Home Store.
