Lawrence gets Bekaert sales post

Pat Lawrence, formerly a top ticking executive with Burlington House, has joined ticking supplier Bekaert Textiles U.S.A. as regional accounts manager.

Based in Arlington, Texas, he is responsible for sales to bedding producers in the Southern region.

Lawrence's duties at Burlington House in Greensboro, N.C., have been assumed by Dennis St. Louis, formerly vice president of national accounts, who has been named vice president of sales.

St. Louis has 16 years experience in the ticking industry, having worked for Golding, Tietex and Value Ticking before joining Burlington House about two years ago.

Lawrence said he is looking forward to working "for a company with Bekaert's product line and standing in the industry." He reports to Scott Nelles, vice president of sales at Bekaert U.S.A., based in Winston-Salem.

Lawrence spent 18 years at Burlington House, where he held a number of posts, most recently as vice president of sales and marketing for mattress fabrics.

Bekaert Textiles is a division of Gamma Holding NV and a world leader in mattress fabric sales, with manufacturing facilities in the United States, Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic, China, Argentina and Australia. The company supplies a broad range of woven and knitted fabrics to home furnishings producers around the world.
