DUBUQUE , Iowa —Mary C. Bottie, vice president and general manager of Motorola's Special Markets and Canada division, has been named to the board of directors of upholstery maker Flexsteel Inds.
Bottie currently directs all sales, field engineering and system integration personnel in the Motorola division, headed creation of a business crisis simulation program, led coordination of the company's 9/11 Crisis Management Team, and served on Motorola University's board of trustees.
"Mary Bottie brings an outstanding record in just about every phase of marketing, as well as a substantial background in corporate education," said Bruce Lauritsen, Flexsteel president and chief executive officer.

HOLLYWOOD , Fla. —Karin Pryor, vice president of marketing for the Store Fixtures Group of industry supplier Leggett & Platt, has been elected to the board of directors of the National Assn. of Store Fixture Manufacturers. She will serve a three-year term.

Morgan Fabric
LOS ANGELES —Michael Burch and Steve McCusker have joined Morgan Fabric as its representatives in the Southeast.
Burch previously spent 10 years with Carolina Decorative Fabric as vice president of sales and marketing. Carolina Decorative was the Carolina Mills residential fabrics division, which was bought by Chatham about two years ago.
McCusker previously spent 25 years representing Home Fabrics, a division of Joan Fabrics.
Woodard CHICAGO —Bill Markowitz Jr. has been named sales representative in Southern California, Arizona and Nevada for outdoor and casual furniture maker Woodard.
He has been a sub-representative for Woodard for the past three years, and before that was West Coast sales representative for Brown Jordan.
