GERS forms alliances with HighJump, SymphonyRPM

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 26, 2004

Retail software provider GERS Retail Systems has formed alliances with two companies.

An link with HighJump Software, a provider of supply chain execution, or SCE, software, will let GERS offer an integrated suite of planning, merchandising, and extended SCE functionality.

"Combining GERS' proven merchandising solutions and HighJump's strong SCE solution set strengthens our ability to present a more robust, comprehensive warehousing and inventory management solution to existing customers and prospects," said Jim Henderson, president and chief executive officer of GERS.

GERS also has signed on with SymphonyRPM, a provider of business performance management platforms and software.

"SymphonyRPM's real-time performance management framework will add sophisticated science to our solutions, giving our customers an even greater advantage in the retail marketplace to make the right decisions, right now," said John Sailer, GERS' vice president of strategy and solutions.
