Ethan Allen set to launch 'solutions' marketing drive

DANBURY, Conn. — Full-line manufacturer, importer and retailer Ethan Allen is launching a solutions-oriented marketing campaign.
The first phase will be introduced to consumers in a redesigned magazine called Furnishing Solutions by Ethan Allen. The direct-mail publication focuses on a variety of lifestyles and the challenges of furnishing particular rooms.
A national TV ad campaign, scheduled to begin at the end of February, will follow. Ethan Allen also will focus on local print and radio advertising.
"The 'solutions' message has always been a part of our culture, and now we are emphasizing the total solutions package that Ethan Allen offers to our customers," said Farooq Kathwari, chairman, president and chief executive officer.
"This new marketing strategy highlights the many ways Ethan Allen makes furnishing a home easier, whether it's through our free design service, free delivery, financing solutions, quality products or online services," he said.
Ethan Allen sells home furnishings through a network of over 300 stores in the United States, Canada and Mexico, and 17 overseas units. The company has 14 manufacturing facilities and three sawmills in the United States, and sources product in Asia.
