Thomasville adding licensed line of lighting
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 25, 2004
THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Thomasville Furniture is brightening its licensed products lineup with Thomasville Lighting, a new line of lamps, fixtures and other lighting products.
Tom Tilley, chief executive officer of Thomasville, said the line will extend the brand into new distribution channels such as home construction and specialty lighting. The products also will be available in many Thomasville stores.
Progress Lighting will market the collection, introduced at this month's Dallas International Lighting and Accessories Market and the National Assn. of Home Builders Show in Las Vegas.
The furniture company, part of Furniture Brands International, also has agreements with other manufacturers to sell Thomasville Cabinetry, exclusively at Home Depot, and Thomasville Home Accents picture frames and wall mirrors.
