WHFA adds four board members

The Western Home Furnishings Assn. has named four new members to its board of directors for 2004.

They are Jack Fendrich, Brenner's Furniture, Eugene, Ore.; Tim Koerner, Koerner Furniture, Coeur D'Alene, Idaho; Don LeMieux, Naturwood Home Furnishings, Sacramento, Calif.; and Lael Thompson, Sonshine Unfinished Furniture, Aurora, Colo.

The 2004 WHFA officers and executive committee are Giff Gates, Gates Home Furnishings, Grants Pass, Ore., president; Marvin Kerby, Kerby's Furniture, Mesa, Ariz., president-elect; David Harkness, Harkness Furniture, Tacoma, Wash., vice president; Taylor Ganz, McMahan's Furniture, Los Angeles, treasurer; George Nader, Nader's La Popular, Gardena, Calif., secretary; Mary Ann Levitt, Breuners Arizona, Scottsdale, Ariz., executive committee chair; Sharron Bradley, WHFA, Roseville, Calif., executive director; and Bob Ammirato, Design Galleria by Valentine, Sacramento, Calif., and Jerome James, Hafer's Home Furnishings, Manteca, Calif., past presidents advisory council.

Cherie Rose, The Rose Collection, Los Gatos, Calif., is the WHFA/ National Home Furnishings Assn. liaison.

At-large board members are Robert Bumps, Davis Furniture, Wenatchee, Wash.; Howard Haimsohn, Lawrence Contemporary, San Diego; Keith Koplan, Koplan's Furniture, Vancouver, Wash.; and Ray Nunez, Furniture Savings Center, Sacramento, Calif.

Rounding out the board of directors for 2004 are Eric Blackledge, Blackledge Furniture, Corvallis, Ore.; Dave Cavitt, Furniture Enteprises, Anchorage, Alaska; Marty Cramer, Cramer's Home Center, Ellensburg, Wash.; Greg Follett, Follett's Furniture, Lewiston, Idaho; Geoffrey Halpern, Valley Manor Ethan Allen, Northridge, Calif.; Ron Hoesterey, Royal Mattress Co., Orange, Calif.; and Joe Hules, Thomasville, Las Vegas.

Also, Jake Jabs, American Furniture Warehouse, Inglewood, Colo.; Michael Jedlowski, Ashley HomeStores, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Doug Kays, Premier Home Furnishings, West Los Angeles, Calif.; and Carsten Kristensen, Copenhagen Furniture, Mill Valley, Calif.

Also, Tom Mauro, Treasures, San Diego; Larry Miller, Sit 'N Sleep, Carson, Calif.; Kelly Rodrigues, Jerome's, San Diego; and David Siegel, Summer's, Bakersfield, Calif.

The Western Home Furnishings Assn. is the largest affiliate of the National Home Furnishings Assn.
