Tupelo exhibitors donate furniture, accents to shelter
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 18, 2004
TUPELO, Miss. — Furniture and accessories donated by Tupelo Furniture Market exhibitors helped furnish the Faith Haven Emergency Shelter here.
Contributors included Powell, Liberty, Styleline, Founders and Lane.
The shelter, which houses neglected and abused children, recently completed a new, larger facility on donated land.
Since its inception in 1977, the shelter has been a temporary home for more than 2,000 children awaiting permanent placement, including 59 in the past year.
