Superior Sleep secures Detroit fire dept. contract

DETROIT — Superior Sleep Systems has been awarded the bedding contract for the Detroit Fire Department.

According to David Lutz, president of Superior Sleep, the company has been enjoying a growth spurt.

"Our growth comes from several different areas," he said. "Our new products such as Visco and latex mattresses have brought an increase in contract business."

To keep up with increased demand, the company has purchased two new quilting machines and hired additional production workers.
