Dino Mark Anthony in new Market Square space
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 18, 2004
HIGH POINT — HIGH POINT — Upholstery manufacturer Dino Mark Anthony is in a new space in Market Square for the April market.
The company formerly occupied space 412 in the same building and now is in space 309.
Sales Manager Tim Broda said the company had to move after Century Furniture, a major tenant on the fifth floor, decided it wanted the fourth-floor space.
At about 5,000 square feet, Dino Mark Anthony's new location has roughly the same amount of floor space. But because the new space is broken up into several rooms, it may have a tougher time fitting in the same amount of furniture.
"We had to get creative to display our product in a showroom that is subdivided into a number of rooms," Broda said.
He said the company is glad to remain in Market Square, where it has had a showroom for the past five years, although he is waiting to see how this market goes.
"With any luck we will be able to benefit from some of the other traffic on the floor," he said.
