Profitsystems shares 'Best Practices'
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 18, 2004
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Profitsystems, the consulting and retail-software service, has developed a series of management lectures that are available free to furniture retailers.
The company's Best Practices series, available on compact disc, started out as an idea-swap between Profitsystems' client retailers, said Brian McCarthy, president. "But then we saw how it worked so well for any retailer who listened, and they all came back asking for more. It's easy for us to burn more CDs, so we thought we'd share the wealth."
The series features retailers and experts talking about retail management issues such as operations and human resources.
"We have Best Practices from some of the most profitable retailers in the industry, as well as other well-known experts," McCarthy said.
Volumes 1 and 2 are now available. E-mail McCarthy at brian@Profitsystems.net or call (800) 888-5565.
