HIGH POINT — HIGH POINT— David Francis Furniture, a design-oriented importer and manufacturer of traditional and Asian case goods and upholstery, is exhibiting in High Point for the first time this market.
The 20-year-old, Vero Beach, Fla.-based company, which has longstanding sourcing relationships in the Philippines and China, is showing in a 1,000-square-foot showroom at 200 North Hamilton St., Suite 331.
"We import raw case goods and chair frames, made to our specifications from our own designs," said Theresa Swett, president.
"We apply all our finishes in our factory in South Florida, as well as make all the upholstery," she said.
Dining table bases retail between $1,000 and $2,000; dining chairs at $1,000 each.
David Francis Furniture's exclusive designs have been featured in such shelter publications as Architectural Digest, Florida Design, Home, House Beautiful, Metropolitan Home and Southern Living.
Between markets, the High Point showroom will be open to the trade, joining existing David Francis designer showrooms in Boston, San Francisco and Laguna Niguel, Calif., and at the home office in Vero Beach.
