Bush sets buyer seminar Thursday
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 18, 2004
HIGH POINT — HIGH POINT— Marketing and branding authority Leo Levinson will present a seminar for buyers Thursday morning, April 22, in the Bush Furniture Inds. space here titled, "25 Steps to Becoming the Home Theater/Home Office Place."
Levinson, CEO of Prescott/Levinson Advertising, will give retailers a practical road map of tips and techniques for branding a store as the market leader and generating increased traffic.
"A recent survey shows that 73% of new technology and television consumers do not buy furniture where they bought their TVs and components," said Jim Schmidt II, vice president for marketing and merchandising for ready-to-assemble and case goods maker Bush. "This presents a huge opportunity for conventional furniture retailers."
Everyone who attends will receive a step-by-step handbook by Levinson. Retailers also will be able to register to win a showroom full of furniture from Bush and its Eric Morgan assembled case goods brand.
The seminar will take place at 7:45 a.m. Thursday in the Bush space, in the International Home Furnishings Center, W-547. A continental breakfast will be served.
