Antidumping Web cast now available for $9.95
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 18, 2004
HIGH POINT — Lawyers on both sides of the antidumping issue squared off in December, and Furniture/Today is making a Web cast of the debate available at a reduced price of $9.95.
Washington attorneys Joe Dorn, representing U.S. manufacturers who filed a petition seeking duties on wood bedroom furniture from China, and John Greenwald, representing Chinese manufacturers opposing the petition, spoke at Furniture/Today's annual Leadership Conference for the industry's top executives.
The Web cast has been available since then, and the continuing importance of the issue spurred the decision to make it more affordable.
"Clearly, the antidumping issue has become the most volatile issue the industry has ever faced, with implications likely to impact suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and even consumers," said Furniture/Today Editor-in-Chief Ray Allegrezza. "The Web cast provides remarkable insight into the arguments and logic of both sides of this critical issue."
