Hickory Furniture Suppliers Show set

HICKORY, N.C. — The 24th annual Hickory Furniture Suppliers Show is set for Feb. 5-6, and includes talks by Furniture/Today Publisher Joe Carroll and U.S. Rep. Gresham Barrett, R-S.C.
In his keynote address, Carroll will look at current and emerging trends for the industry.
The show in the Hickory Metro Convention Center allows production personnel and manufacturers to see the latest products and services offered by suppliers from the United States and other countries. It opens at 9 a.m. both days, closing at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, and 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6.
No preregistration is required and there is no admission charge for furniture manufacturers and their designated personnel. Non-exhibiting suppliers will be charged an admission fee of $100 per person each day.
Seminars and demonstrations are scheduled on several topics, including lean manufacturing, leather and wood repair and ergonomics. At the All-Industry Cocktail Party closing the first day, the second annual Generations of Pride award and scholarship recipients will be announced.
