GNYHFA gathers to honor Cory, Mehran

NEW YORK — More than 450 members of the industry gathered at Terrace on the Park here to honor the 2003 award recipients designated by the Greater New York Home Furnishings Assn.

GNYHFA announced that $5,000 from its summertime boat gala was being donated to the American Cancer Society in memory of Seaman's Alan Rosenberg, who died late last year. Joe Cory Sr. dedicated his David Druckman Lifetime Achievement Award to Rosenberg's memory.

The association has set up a committee to create an award in Rosenberg's memory.
