MULBERRY, Fla. — W.S. Badcock said seven more of its dealer-owned stores have been converted to the Badcock Home Furniture & more format.
Five of the stores are in Florida, in Lake Gibson, Hudson, Largo, Cross City and Williston; and two in Georgia, in Columbus and Manchester. Between 80% and 90% of all Badcock units are expected to adopt the format by 2007.
The larger Badcock & more stores display over 4,000 items. The concept was introduced in January 2000. Badcock, established in 1904, has more than 320 stores throughout the Southeast.
