Groups host fundraiser to help Florida panther

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Florida Home Furnishings Representatives Assn. and the Florida Retailers Assn. are hosting a February fundraiser to benefit the Florida panther.

The dinner and pool tournament fundraiser will be held Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. at Dave and Busters in Hollywood, Fla. Donations are $150 per person in advance and $175 at the door.

Funds raised will benefit the Save the Florida Panther project at Flamingo Garden, a not-for-profit facility raising money to build a natural habitat for the almost-extinct animal.
