Chesnutt replaces Moore at ATMI

WASHINGTON — Jim Chesnutt has replaced Billy Moore as chairman of the American Textile Manufacturers Institute.
Chesnutt is president and chief executive officer of National Spinning in Washington, N.C., and was first vice chairman of ATMI. Moore stepped down as chairman after resigning from yarn producer Unifi and taking a position with Polymer Group, which is not a member of ATMI.
Chesnutt is a past president of the American Yarn Spinners Assn. and the North Carolina Manufacturers Assn.
