Larry Grossman, veteran retailer

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — Larry Grossman, a pioneer in retailing contemporary furniture in the United States, has died of kidney and heart failure. He was 72.
He operated five designer showrooms in New York and New Jersey called the House of Grossman. The company was among the first U.S. customers for Italian leather upholstery producer Natuzzi.
He is survived by his wife, two children and five grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, P.O. Box 17377, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. 33318.
