Hammer promoted to VP at Shifman Mattress Co.

Newark, N.J. — Bill Hammer has been promoted to vice president of Shifman Mattress Co. here.
He will be responsible for all company operations, including marketing and manufacturing. He also will oversee an upcoming factory expansion project while working closely with the sales team to expand distribution to furniture dealers in new markets.
Hammer is the son of Shifman owner and President Mike Hammer. He joined the company in 1994 as a territory manager in New Jersey and Philadelphia.
In 2000, he was promoted to general manager.
