Crawford elected chairman of Chicagoland Chamber board

Chicago — Robert W. Crawford Jr., chief executive officer of Brook Furniture Rental, has been elected to a two-year term as chairman of the board of directors of The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, which will mark its 100th year in 2004.
He is the founder of Brook Furniture Rental, based in Chicago, now a $62 million company with 34 stores and 450 employees across the United States.
Crawford is a trustee of The Field Museum of Chicago, president of the National Recreation Foundation, and chairman of the board of directors of the International Furniture Rental Assn.
