In upholstery, the company is introducing Lavelle, part of a major collection inspired by formal French designs. Upholstery sports hand-carved show wood accents. Pieces include a button-tufted sofa, settee, bergere chair and matching ottoman, oval-back accent chair and round cocktail ottoman, all accented by occasional tables.

AMELIA HOME BY COE

Entries include the Amelia Beach House, part of the Roommates collection, with a scalloped wood base to match coordinating tables, striking in white with colorful loose pillow back; and Amelia Denim, part of the Chic collection.

BELLE MEADE SIGNATURE

The company continues to expand into new categories with an up-to-date eclectic approach to classic styles. Introductions include a Chinese Chippendale frame covered in a Tappas hemp, with European beech showwood.

The No. 742-01 Pamela chair with casters features Terrace Garden fabric and a worn pecan finish, $1,795.

BERNHARDT

Forty new pieces will be added to the Interiors designer-oriented collection. Includes a sectional in chenille with a faux mohair look. The company also is adding three sofa groups and about 20 new fabrics to its Martha Stewart brand.

BEST HOME FURNISHINGS

Stationary offerings include Nos. S61E and S61w, a clean, transitional model that allows a sofa cushion to be removed and replaced with a chaise cushion. No. S72DP is a transitional model with wide, step-back rolled arms accented with cording.

BROYHILL

  • Multiples is a new customizable upholstery collection that allows consumers to put together different frame styles, wood finishes, seating options, arm styles and fabrics. The program offers three arm, three back and three leg styles, providing 27 configurations with five SKUs, including a standard sofa, apartment-scale sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman. Multiples offers 275 pillow fabrics and five wood finishes.

  • In addition, the company is offering its first eco-friendly collection featuring repurposed cotton fabrics, wood frames certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, no-sag springs made from recycled steel, seat cushions constructed from soy-based foam, pillows and back cushions made from recycled plastics and wood legs made from certified wood with water-based finishes.

The company is targeting two lifestyle trends: urban/loft living and downsizing by empty nesters. The Urban Living program has been designed to offer value and flexibility without compromising on quality and attention to detail. One introduction will be the Soho sofa in classic contemporary styling with wood base, $1,999.

CISCO

The company strategy is going back to its roots, producing sustainable furniture focusing on comfort and a casual style with repurposed materials and reused lumber. The repurposing is evident in the Planet ottoman and Trinidad chair, done in patchwork leather. The Arden sofa in a Lan Oatmeal cover is eight-way hand-tied, with FSC-certified hardwood. Targeted at $4,500 retail.

CLAYTON MARCUS

This Rowe company is adding a “Suit Yourself” customization program where the customer can select fabric, finish, legged or skirted, choice of three arms, and three types of backs — tight, loose and semi-attached. Options also include 750 fabrics, 11 wood finishes and COM. The first grouping in the collection is Stanford, which includes full-size and apartment-size sofas, loveseat, chair/ottoman combo and sofa-sleepers with full or queen beds.

C.R. LAINE

One of the company’s key introductions this market will be the No. 1290 Bray sofa, a clean interpretation of the nature-inspired classic camel back covered in Nixon Lemongrass (100% cotton basket weave) with four plump down-filled pillows in Fem It Up Lemongrass (100% linen) fabric. Products are U.S. made and certified as Sustainable by Design by the American Home Furnishings Alliance.

Introductions include the No. 2891 sofa inspired by 18th-century Europe, featuring elegant, rich fabrics with an eclectic mix of cushions; the No. 6886 sofa, a transitional model with a tight camel back, jeweled aqua silk round cushion and toss cushions; and No. 7844 sofa in uptown casual styling in a pastel linen accented with spring-inspired striped palette.

DESIGNER WICKER & RATTAN

Introductions include a rocker, in rattan and wood, $500; Charleston rocker, made of hand-woven rattan core over a rattan frame, $500; and Trinidad sectional in rattan, $4,000.

Marketing programs: Offering quick-ship service on certain designs. Also offers a gallery program.

DINO MARK ANTHONY

The company is expanding DMA, last market’s major introduction addressing a retail-friendly price point. New designs will convey a casual European theme. Full down and eight-way hand-tied construction is standard. One entry will be a slip-covered, stylized casual European modern in Belgium linen, $3,000; another is a new look with a decidedly European flair, $3,400 in Belgium linen.

DOMUS VENTURES

215 Church Ave.

  • The Antequera group features stylish European design with deep seating comfort. Part of the company’s domestic warehouse program, it is made of Fitrit rattan in a Colonial finish.

  • The Bora Bora group is made of Fitrit rattan with a black-brown wash finish. The high-back style offers deep seating comfort.

  • The Las Palmas group includes both seating and occasional. The group is made of Cubu rattan.

EKORNES

Known for its Stressless line of leather motion and recliners, Ekornes is moving into fabric upholstery with a line of 66 recyclable, fire-retardant fabrics made eco-friendly without harmful substances. The International Fabric collection is organized into five categories: Cocoon, a chenille offered in 11 colors; Placidus, a chenille in eight colors; Natura, a woven jacquard in 11 colors; Oasis, a velvet offered in 20 colors; and Dinamica, a microdinier suede offered in 16 colors. All Stressless and Ekornes seating is available in the new fabrics.

ENGLAND

The company is reinventing itself to be more design oriented with better styles and fabric applications. The stationary category has been expanded to encompass all categories: traditional, transitional and contemporary. Introductions include a casual plaid with a bun foot and four coordinating toss pillows using Montana Lodge Classic by Culp Pillow and Waters Tobacco by Richloom, $799-$899; a contemporary model with flared arms, shaped wood legs and two toss pillows with Crave Onyx by JLA Pillow, Hound’s-tooth Burl by Barrow Style, $599-$699; a casual plaid with rolled arm, skirt and fresh cover combination that includes Briony Primavera by Culp Pillow and Precious Lotus by Culp, $699-$799; a contemporary model with contrast welt, dark wood base and legs, center button pillows in Crave Lagoon and Crave Onyx by JLA Pillow, Thatcher Fresco by Valdese Style, $699-$799; and a traditional small sectional with a pleated, rolled arm and multiple toss pillows in Molly Barley by Merrimac Pillow, Rudy Seafoam by Richloom.

The Gramercy collection is being extended with Michelle, a sophisticated occasional chair with elegant soft curves in a tufted cream linen.

The company is increasing its commitment to U.S.-made, eco-conscious upholstery by adding three new frames in its Verde Eco collection. The Lennox is an eco-chic modern sectional in a charcoal gray herringbone; the Hampton sofa is eco chic with a 100% with down and feather seating.

HIGHLAND HOUSE

The company is adding pieces to its Pierre Deux French Country collection, concentrating on fresh, value-oriented body cloths; introducing and expanding transitional offerings, and expanding fabric/leather offerings. In Pierre Deux, pieces include an 80-inch metal-frame sofa in a matelasse cover with multiple print pillows, metal sides and metal cabriole legs; settee and chair in toile from Pierre Deux fabric line, fully upholstered; a fully-upholstered daybed with waterfall skirt, bench seat shown in tweed-look black/taupe chenille in a clean transitional styling with buttons on seat back; and an upholstered wood frame in toiles and other French country patterns with French-inspired turned wood stretcher base.

ISON FURNITURE

Company is filling a void for high-end designer sofas and exposed wood frames that are custom finished.

KINCAID

Company is expanding its Custom Select program of multiple arms, backs, bases and sizes — 80, 84, 94 inches — and style selections that can be configured over 2,000 ways. Sofas run $1,099 and up. New sectionals also are being added.

LAZAR

Lazar’s strategy continues to focus on the Michael Payne collection with the addition of new pieces, including the Phaedra lounge ($799) to complement the Phaedra sofa, the Sunshine chair in a lemon linen, $799, and the Modena dining chair in a fabric with gentle curves. Lazar also is introducing the Marcel sofa and chair in mid-century styling, $1,299; and the Austin high-back swivel rocker, $899.

LA-Z-BOY

This market will see an expansion of the La-Z-Boy Premier line based on the smaller-scaled Sydney introduced in October, transitional and simple in style, and versatile with delicately rolled arms and simple tapered wood legs; and Madeline, a basic, seven-piece traditional skirted frame in petite scale with a basic roll arm.

LUANA LIVING

Company is presenting a total coordinated look with 12 new models in vintage, modern and contemporary styling, in leather, fabric or mixed media. Included are a vintage-style sofa in Richloom’s spice body, pillows in Gumtree’s crocodile embossed leather, with carved wood base, bench seat cushion with pocket coils, feather/fiber wrap and feather/fiber back cushions, $999; also two-piece sectional with double-wide chaise cover, in casual contemporary styling, with pocket coil seating construction and feather/fiber pillows in dramatic tribal patterns, $1,299.

MAITLAND-SMITH

Upholstery includes a verdigris cast brass turtle footstool with olive leather top; a wing-style chair in baby cheetah hair hide and leather upholstered occasional chair with a dark brown rattan frame; and a dark brown finished rattan chair with gilded accents on hand-carved wood, black-and-white zebra hair hide and leather, and brass tack accents.

The company is showing three new sectionals, seven new frames and 40 new fabrics.

Introducing five groups as part of Variations, a choose-your-own silhouette program with options in arms, seat and back cushions, skirts, legs and pillows. Also adding three new pieces to Candice Olson collection: the Calvin chair and ottoman with a soft tufted back, shown in a shimmery caramel patent leather and chocolate leather, with nailhead trim, chair, sofa is $1,949 in leather, ottoman, $549; the Buckley cocktail ottoman featuring a zigzag pattern that encircles the softened rectangular silhouette, enhanced by two rows of nailhead detail, $920 in fabric, $1,840 in leather; and the three-piece Ollie sectional, which joins the popular Ollie sofa group in a choice of three arm styles, each with a corresponding leg or waterfall skirt, in fabric only, $3,875.

Three new sofas and seven new chairs with soft contemporary styling; a casual urban lodge sofa with matching chair; a classic vintage chair design; and a storage ottoman.

Introductions include eight sofas with matching pieces plus four occasional chairs, including an 82-inch transitional with tapered leg in Bella Chocolate by Morgan Fabrics, Bangal Chestnut pillow fabric by P. Kaufman, $2,246; and a 87-inch traditional curved arm sofa with carved bun foot, Dakota Peppercorn leather from Carrol Leather, pillows in River’s Edge Pottery by Culp, $5,416. The company also will be increasing the size of its most popular promotional program.

Showing a new sofa with an Old English finish, featuring pineapple finials, nailhead trim, tassels and decorative pillows with fringe, retail $9,280.

Introductions include an elegant, high-arm transitional Italian imported chair featuring wood detail, $4,100.

YOUNGER

Elements by Randy Culler is aimed at customers who want comfort with bold expression and includes two sofas, two sectionals and four chairs in a classic but hip urban style. Pieces include the Luxe sofa in Art Deco styling with sweeping curved arms set on a concave base, with body cloth in Crave Black and pillows in Freeway Jet, all from JLA home; and Lola, an updated wing chair with graceful curved arms on an architectural wooden base, shown in two fabrics, Tory Raspberry rose pattern from Microfibers and a solid purple called Bella Gumdrop from Morgan. Also, Lala is a light-scaled side chair in Pachinko Charcoal from Specialty Fabrics.

WHITECRAFT

Montecito is a European-style contemporary seating group that includes a lounge chair, sofa and loveseat. Available in coffee or natural finishes.

WOODMARK

Woodmark will be expanding its clean-lined transitional frames this market with value-priced body cloths called Body Basics. The company also will offer a broad pallet of fabrics in mineral tones that show well with the company’s clean-lined frames.
