San Francisco — The sixth annual Northwest Home Furnishings Show will be held at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center in Seattle on March 20–22, 2004. The market mainly will feature smaller artisans, craftsmen and manufacturers.
"The Northwest Home Furnishings Show allows exhibitors and buyers to forge lasting business relationships in a convenient, easy-to-shop forum," said Joan Stockton, show manager of show organizer Universal Shows Inc. "The timing and structure of this market allows more time for retailers and interior designers to find unique products and enables the vendors to gain more insight into the needs of Northwest consumers."
The show will encompass 64,000 feet of net square footage. Three hundred booths are expected to be filled, representing 200 exhibiting companies. Attendance is expected to top 2,500.
The market will target retailers from specialty and department stores, furniture stores, home décor and gift stores, juvenile stores, garden centers, mail-order catalogs and interior designers.
Product categories will include traditional and contemporary furniture, case goods, textiles, area rugs, children's furniture, home accessories, garden furniture and home accents.
