GLM's ICFF has record attendance

White Plains, N.Y. — The 15th annual International Contemporary Furniture Fair, held in May in New York, drew record numbers of attendees, said show organizer George Little Management here.
ICCF covered 110,000 square feet of space and drew 17,241 interior designers, architects, retailers, facility managers, wholesalers, store design professionals, hotel and restaurant designers, manufacturers, students and members of the public, GLM said.
About 460 exhibitors displayed contemporary furniture, seating, lighting, carpet, flooring, wall coverings, textiles, materials, accessories, kitchen and bath products and outdoor furniture.
Of the exhibitors, 167 showed for the first time. Fifty-seven percent of exhibitors were from the United States. Other countries represented included Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
ICFF Editors Awards were presented to best-of-show products in 16 categories. The jury included Kelly Rude, Canadian Interiors; Brooke Stoddard, House & Garden; Doretta Sperduto, House Beautiful; Alexa Yablonski, Interior Design; and Arlene Hirst, Metropolitan Home.
Award winners included Bulthaup for body of work; Anne Kyyro Quinn, new designer; Venini, craftmanship; Blu Dot, furniture; Brayton International, distributor of Finn Juhl designs by Hansen & Sorensen and Hans Wegner designs by PP Mobler, seating; Fontana Arte, lighting; Kasthall Mattor & Golv AB, carpet and flooring; Timorous Beasties/TB Studio, wall coverings; Maharam, textiles; Satyendra Pakhale for RSVP, accessories; Axolo, kitchen and bath; and bench by Diana Cabeza for Cienporciento Diseno Group, outdoor furniture.
