  • Spider Car Bed, based on the Alfa Romeo Spider with shell made of particleboard with company's exclusive wear-resistant finish; coordinating pieces include chests, dressers, nightstands, bookcases, computer stand and TV stand; available in silver/blue or red car.

  • Sonic, modern look with natural maple and aluminum gray; beds include twin, full and a bookcase model with storage in headboard, side and footboard; has a computer desk and a corner computer desk, bookcase with metal shelves, tall wardrobe, two dressers and a castered TV stand.

  • Castlewood, 12 pieces in contemporary style, solid aspen painted with water-based colors; $2,100.
    Strategy: Expanding into the juvenile category with many custom finishing options, including water-based stains and paints.

Palliser 220 Elm 400

  • 504 Echo, 10 pieces including five bed styles; case pieces are black laminate with silver accents, beds are metal with stylized acrylic head and foot panels.
    Strategy: Several other new youth styles offered.

P.J. Kids SP 4427

  • Heartland Hills, 22 pieces including cribs, beds and cases; birch solids and veneers, warm oak finish, nickel hardware; drawer has dovetail joints front and back, side-mounted drawer glides and solid bottoms; pieces range from $149 to $649.

  • Strategy: New signature boys' line, filling a classic style void.

Rockford/American Woodcrafters CP 104–106

  • Backroads, 36 pieces of master and youth bedroom, framed panel drawers, planked doors and wooden peg joinery; finishes are Wood Tone, Worn White, Black and select pieces in Brick Red, all with worn edges; matching wooden knobs.

  • Charleston, 13 pieces with solid-pine tops, ends and fronts; solid-wood hardware; in sandstone finish with light distressing and fly-specking detailing or white with fly-specking; beds include panel, plantation, sleigh, captain's and bunk models; sleigh and captain's beds have inset louvered panels; collection includes computer desk, sweater chest and desk chair.

  • For second bedrooms, the Profile and Nantucket master bedroom collections offer beds in twin, full, queen and king sizes.

Young America/Stanley IHFC C-1158

Two new youth groups including standard pieces as well as a crib, wicker bed and dresser with changing station. Designs also incorporate new safety features.

  • 2nd Nature, 30-plus pieces, transitional unisex design with a clear finish to showcase Northern hard white maple.

  • Starlight, 30-plus pieces, crisp, clean white finish that transcends style genres.
