Spudis named president of King Koil Scranton

Scranton, Pa. — William T. Spudis has been promoted to president of bedding producer King Koil Scranton here. He succeeds David Adler, who was named chairman of the licensee.
Spudis joined King Koil Scranton in 1987 as operations manager for the factory. In 1998, he was promoted to vice president and general manager, a post he held until the latest promotion.
"Bill has done an outstanding job of moving King Koil Scranton to the next level," said Larry McKay, president of the national King Koil licensing group. "Sales in 2003 were up double-digit, and the factory has consistently upgraded quality."
