Chicago — How can Italian furniture and home accents manufacturers succeed in the U.S. market? A company representing high-end Italian manufacturers is visiting the NeoCon contract furnishings show here to conduct research on the topic.
Si Italian Design and its owner, Tamar Milo, along with faculty members of the Milan, Italy, university SDA Bocconi, will interview executives showing at NeoCon about the challenges and opportunities of the U.S. market.
The study is supported by Altagamma, the Italian association of high-end manufacturers of design products. The first phase, which focused on the residential marketplace, was conducted last year and presented in January to Altagamma members.
