57 designers compete for Pinnacle Awards

New London, N.C. — A field of 57 finalists in 15 categories will vie for the Pinnacle Design Achievement Awards, to be presented by the American Society of Furniture Designers at a High Point market gala Oct. 17.
"While one designer (per category) will receive the actual Pinnacle, all of the finalists are important winners. Their compelling designs in the eyes of the judges met the strict criteria that includes value to consumers, visual appearance and function, use of materials and application of production technology," said Karl Felperin, a California-based furniture designer and Pinnacle Awards chairman.
